The Drama Department
The Providence Christian Academy Drama Department provides unique experiences in the performing arts for our students. Our production programming spans from elementary through the high school level. Students may participate in straight plays, musicals, one act competition, Thescon, the Shuler Hensley Awards, and various other performance opportunities. We have an active Thespian and Junior Thespian Society at Providence. There are academic classes offered in elementary, middle, and high school. We instruct students in acting, directing, design, technical theatre, and administrative responsibilities. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that students are equipped to pursue the performing arts and have the confidence to explore their interests in any capacity they choose.
